MVV 2026/27 Mars Music House Fellows:

Ruilin Chen, Violin

Kamilah Brown, Viola

Kristina Roller, Cello

Our Mission

The main goal of the MVV Music House is to enrich Baltimore and the surrounding communities through classical music. Our fellows will perform in all regular MVV concerts, teach in Baltimore City public schools, and perform weekly throughout the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas.

The Every Child Deserves a Voice program serves KIPP Academy and The Green School, both located in Baltimore. Through this program, children have the opportunity to learn classical music. MVV provides instruments, supplies, and all educational materials for the students. This will be the fourth year of the program, and it continues to grow!

In addition to performing recitals, the quartet will engage in extensive community outreach, bringing classical music to audiences who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it. They will perform in homeless shelters, nursing homes, hospitals, jails, and community centers. If you know of an organization that could benefit from a performance by our quartet, please reach out. We would be delighted to explore new partnerships

The MVV Fellowships are generously supported by the Howard J. and Katherine W. Aibel Family Fellowship Program.
